Welcome

Welcome to The Hungry Bookworm. I am a nerdy bookworm, who really loves to read and looking for recommendations. Not only will you find me with my nose in the book 50% of my free time but I love trying new restaurants, I am big on drama, thrillers, I also like paranormal to an extent. I am not into a mortal being in love with a ghost or vampire or anything to that effect, but I do like books that talk about physics or those that can see and speak to ghost, but whatever I read it had to have a little romance mixed in with it. It has to have that HEA.

I am a self-proclaimed foodie. My husband, on the other hand, is a very picky eater, so I am always looking for places we can set down and share an enjoyable meal together. Not only do I look at the quality of the food, but I also judge the place based on the cleanliness and the friendliness and knowledgably staff. Now, I know that sometimes there are new employees in training, and I give them a fair shot, because I know how it feels to be the new kid on the block, it is not fair to that new employee for customers to be rude to them or cuss them for simply messing something up. It may be their first day or even their first week, we need to try to support them and give them a little led way, even if they are not new and the waitress makes a small mistake, we need to be courteous, because we are all human and humans makes mistakes. It is how we act about them or what we learn from them that make the difference.

I have created this site with the image that we can all help each other by giving great recommendations for a great book, a favorite restaurant or any travel recommendations and tips. If you have a review that you would like me to publish or a favorite book or restaurant to recommend. Please feel free to email me at thehungrybookworm@outlook.com

Note that I will not publish anything political.

After reading a book I always wonder what lessons could be taken from a book, especially those that were in the romance category. What can one possibly learn with dirty words and X-rated scenes? Turns

The Plan

When I read, I do it as an escape from reality, from the stress that surrounds my life. I read to destress. I read to keep my mind sharp. Since I have started reading, most of the time, daily I find t
